HiTOPS

From one of the members, Rocky (they/them), "HiTOPS is a non-profit org that aims to provide queer youth with support groups and an affirming community + comprehensive sex education. I have worked on the Trans Youth Advisory board with them for two years now, and I went to their support groups regularly for trans youth during my senior year of high school. I had a really positive experience with them, and they provided me with great opportunities to make community through their organization. Plus, the Trans Youth Advisory Board gave me a pretty awesome professional opportunity as well (I was paid a $250 stipend at the end of each year for my work)."

Data Hoarding

"DataHoarding.org is a non-profit effort to build the world's largest index of resources and archives related to data hoarding, web archival and digital preservation. It was inspired by the recent purge of online information by government agencies, corporations and others, and aims to provide easier access to tools and information. The goal is not only to hoard data, but curate and index it as well."

The Uncensored Library

"In many countries, websites, social media and blogs are controlled by oppressive leaders. Young people, in particular, are forced to grow up in systems where their opinion is heavily manipulated by governmental disinformation campaigns.

But even where almost all media is blocked or controlled, the world’s most successful computer game is still accessible. Reporters Without Borders (RSF) uses this loophole to bypass internet censorship to bring back the truth – within Minecraft."
